Terms of Service

Version: 1.1 · Effective: April 5, 2026 · Last Updated: April 5, 2026

1. Acceptance

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Naratale app and related services. By creating an account or using Naratale, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility

Naratale is for users who are 13 years old or older. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed these Terms with you and allowed you to use the service.

3. The Service

Naratale lets users create, record, save, replay, and optionally share collaborative stories. Features may include account sync, friends, invitations, multiplayer rooms, premium content, virtual currency, and subscriptions. We may change or discontinue features at any time.

4. Your Content

You keep ownership of the stories, recordings, and other content you create. You grant Naratale a limited license to host, store, process, display, and transmit that content only as needed to operate the service, including syncing, sharing, moderation, backup, and replay features.

5. Sharing and Online Features

If you use public or social features, including share codes, friend systems, or online rooms, you are responsible for the content you share and for how you interact with other users. Do not upload or share unlawful, abusive, infringing, sexually explicit, hateful, or otherwise harmful content.

6. Accounts and Security

7. Magic Dust, Purchases, and Premium Access

Magic Dust is a virtual in-app currency with no cash value. It is non-transferable, non-redeemable, and may be lost if your account is deleted or terminated.

On Android and iOS, purchases and subscriptions are processed through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store, with RevenueCat used for entitlement management. Prices, taxes, renewal terms, cancellations, and refunds may also be governed by the rules of the platform where you made the purchase.

10. Moderation and Enforcement

We may review, remove, restrict, suspend, or terminate content or accounts when we believe it is necessary to protect users, comply with the law, prevent abuse, or enforce these Terms.

11. Account Deletion

You can request deletion inside the app or at https://naratale.app/delete-account. Deleting your account may remove your access to stories, purchases, Magic Dust, and other account-linked content, subject to legal retention requirements and platform purchase rules.

12. Intellectual Property

The Naratale app, branding, artwork, software, and service materials are owned by Naratale or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not give you ownership of our software or brand.

13. Disclaimer

Naratale is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Naratale will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, virtual currency, or content resulting from your use of the service.

15. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we may notify you in the app or by other reasonable means. Continued use after the new Terms take effect means you accept them.
